Electrical Shift Engineer | Surrey | Static Site | Critical Datacentre Environment | Continental Shift (Days & Nights) | £48-52K + Employment Package.

Following the construction of a brand new, critical datacentre environment, we are actively recruiting for Electrical Shift Engineers to join our brand new critical maintenance team. As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance / remedial works for all building services equipment on-site.

Role Summary:

* Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer

* Location: Longcross, Surrey

* Base Salary: £48,000 - £51,000 dependant on qualifications / experience + £1,500 bonus.

* Additional earnings for AP allowances.

* Paid overtime available.

* Hours: Continental Shift Pattern, 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am (days and nights).

* Environment: Datacentre - Critical Environment / Critical Building Services Equipment.

Duties / Works:

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, your expected workload will be as follows:

* Planned Maintenance / PPMs (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually etc) across Electrical and Building Services equipment (ie: HVAC / Mechanical systems).

* 1st line response, fault diagnostics and reactive maintenance / repairs to Electrical building services systems.

* 1st line fault to HVAC / Mechanical / BMS systems, ie: coil cleans, filter changes etc to AHUs / FCUs / Split Systems etc.

* Working with crtical building services systems and equipment, ie: High voltage switching, high voltage transformers, Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, CRAC units etc.

* Updating site log books and company CAFM systems, providing detailed reports on works.

Requirements:

To be considered for this Electrical Shift Engineer position, we expect you to meet the following criteria:

Essential:

* Must be a qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 / City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

* Must have experience working within commercial environments with commercial electrical systems.

Desirable but not essential:

* Up to date regulations: City & Guilds 18th edition.

* Experience within a maintenance position within a critical environment or with critical building services systems including high voltage power supplies, high voltage switching, UPS systems, CRAC units etc.

* Previous or current HVAP status.
