A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate SEN Class Teacher to join a committed team at a thriving special school in Birmingham, supporting pupils aged 3-11 with a range of complex needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

What the Role Involves:

Delivering creative, engaging, and meaningful learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SLD, ASD, and PMLD

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including onsite support from Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), and Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP)

Contributing to ongoing school improvement and the development of inclusive practice

Being part of a highly supportive and collaborative teaching team

Candidate Requirements:

The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher who:

Has substantial experience working with children with SLD, ASD, and/or PMLD in early years, primary, or special school settings

Is flexible, innovative, and resilient, with a drive to make a positive impact

Brings high expectations and a commitment to personalised, pupil-centred learning

Demonstrates strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with families and professionals

Can embrace change, contribute to school development, and deliver high-quality teaching
