We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established and busy company based in DE55 4QT. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering steady weekday hours and long-term prospects for the right candidate.

As a General Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of shop floor duties, including:

• Operating a range of machinery and equipment
• Carrying out cutting work, including hand cutting and heat cutting
• General manual handling tasks
• Completing related paperwork accurately
• Maintaining good housekeeping and a safe working environment

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment is desirable
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to drive and have access to your own transport, as the location is not easily accessible by public transport

• £12.95 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekends
• 8:30am to 5:00pm hours
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Immediate start available
