We are currently working with a Catholic Primary School in Kensington, Liverpool who are looking for a committed and passionate HLTA to join their team from September 2025. You will be based within Key Stage Two.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervise the class in teachers' absence (e.g. PPA)
Preparing and adapting learning materials to suit different abilities and needs
Support delivery of interventions
Provide support for pupils with SEND/EAL
Monitor and assess pupil progress
Manage behaviour in line with school policy
Promote pupil wellbeing and emotional supportCandidate requirements:

At Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School (or equivalent) as minimum
Classroom experience is essential, particularly in KS2
Familiarity with curriculum delivery and classroom management
SEN experience is desirable
Confidence in covering lessons in teacher's absence
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
