The JobAn interim Operational Finance Manager will be hired for a 6 month period.This role will stabilise, standardise and scale the transactional finance function. The successful candidate will lead the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Cash Management teams through a period of transition, moving to robust, documented and efficient control environment.Key Areas
- Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash - conduct an diagnostic of the Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash cycles
- Standard Operating Procedures - produce comprehensive, documentation for all transactional processes to eliminate failure and risk
- System optimisation - Assess the current ERP/accounting software usage. Implement automated workflows to reduce requirement for manual intervention
- Support the team with business as usual tasks and mentor the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Cash teams
- Evaluate current team structure and competencies
- Establish clear KPI''s for the team

About You- Proven experience in operational finance leadership, specifically within businesses undergoing rapid growth or structural change
- Deep expertise in mapping P2P and O2C cycles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and a track record of using technology to automate mundane tasks
- Happy to have a balanced approach as a strategic leader, but comfortable with rolling up sleeves
- Excellent interpersonal skills
