Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: Circa £40k - £44k DOE + overtime

What you'll be doing - Systems Engineer - Manufacturing

Driving the implementation and improvement of technology-based initiatives
Researching new and emerging technologies, carrying out feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capital expenditure proposals for new equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy smart manufacturing solutions
Driving automation and connectivity projects to improve system-to-system communication and overall business efficiency
Monitoring and troubleshooting integrated systems
Developing and maintaining data analytics tools

Your skills and experiences - Systems Engineer - Manufacturing

Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or time served in a similar role (HNC/Degree)
The ability to analyse complex problems
Some experience in introducing new technologies / tools into a business from concept through to implementation
Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
Some familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD packages
