Vehicle Electrician Responsibilities:
We have an immediate requirement for a Automotive Electrician who you will play a key role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the electrical systems of our vehicles are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Flexible shifts: 40 hours week Monday to Thursday or 45 hour week Monday to Friday. Paid Hourly c£16:00 ph + Bonus +Excellent Benefits
Your responsibilities will include:
* Electrical Installation: Install and integrate electrical systems into vehicles according to engineering wiring diagrams and specifications.
* Fitting electrical accessories including camera systems, side scan warning systems, beacons, LED's.
* Marking out and drilling using hand tools.
* Wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits.
* Reading and understanding technical drawings and specification sheets.
* Wiring up of electrical components and installations of wiring looms.
* Diagnostic checks, troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle electrical systems.
* Use of special tools such as crimping devices and heat shrink guns.
* Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures.
* Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations.
* Education in auto electrics preferred.
Vehicle Electrician Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Experience:
* Vehicle electrician with 3+ years' experience within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge and experience of automotive electrical systems
* Read wiring diagrams
* Electrical Diagnostic tools.
* Assembling and installing wiring looms
* Use of hand tools including drills and glue guns
* Installation of Camera's, Alarms, Lighting and scan warning systems
* Attention to Detail: High-quality workmanship.
Working Hours - 40 Hour week. Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 5.30pm OR Monday to Thursday Friday 07:00 - 5.30 and Friday 07:00 - 13.30 + regular overtime available. Excellent benefits package.
