We're looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing food production site on a 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern.

This role offers a fantastic salary, regular overtime paid over x1.5, and the chance to be part of major upcoming engineering projects. The role

• Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
• Work on machinery including slicing machinery, check weighers, and packaging equipment
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrade projects
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability

About you

• Apprentice-trained or qualified in mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
• Skilled in mechanical fault finding, repairs, and equipment optimisation
• Positive, proactive, and eager to learn new skills
