We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to work with precision, and a strong understanding of tooling and materials handling processes. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

* Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.

* Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and disassembly of components.

* Interpret technical drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks for precise machining tasks.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or tooling.

* Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.

* Familiarity with tooling techniques, welding processes, and materials handling practices.

* Proficient in using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for interpreting designs.

* Experience operating milling machines and other industrial equipment is preferred.

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand logic controllers and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
