About the Role:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Nuclear Civil client in Plymouth.
Some of your Duties will include.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the delivery of the mechanical engineering aspects of the Dock Bottom Village & Marshalling Area. T
his includes managing the mechanical engineering elements of the project, providing technical design guidance and review, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements, and implementing effective project implementation and quality management arrangements.
The role also involves ensuring proper documentation, communication of hazards and risks, and familiarising staff and contractors with the work.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience in the design and substantiation of mechanical building services, HVAC systems, and industrial lifts.
- Preferable knowledge of relevant design and analysis codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions.
- Knowledge of fabrication, manufacture, testing, certification, and installation techniques
