About the Role

As an Electrical Earthing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing a range of earthing systems across infrastructure or construction sites. You will work both above and below ground, ensuring all installations meet regulatory, safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Installing and maintaining electrical earthing systems

* Carrying out brazing and CAD weld (exothermic welding) connections

* Installing earth rods, tapes, grids, and bonding systems

* Working on both above‑ground and underground earthing installations

* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

* Reading, interpreting and working from drawings, schematics and earthing layouts

* Working independently or as part of a wider project team

Requirements

✔️ JIB Graded Electrician status

✔️ 18th Edition - BS 7671

✔️ Proven experience in electrical earthing installations

✔️ Experience with brazing and CAD welding

✔️ Ability to work in varied site conditions (above & below ground)

✔️ Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures

✔️ CSCS card or relevant site qualification (preferred)

✔️ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Preferred

✨ Experience working on construction or major infrastructure projects

✨ Knowledge of lightning protection or grounding systems
