Our client is seeking an experienced Tree Inspector to support the inspection and proactive management of trees across their highway network, with a focus on Ash Dieback.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out detailed tree inspections across the highway network, open spaces, and other areas of responsibility
Identify, assess, and record the presence and progression of Ash Dieback disease, providing evidence‑based management recommendations
Maintain accurate digital records of inspections

Person Specification

Recognised qualification in Arboriculture or demonstrable experience in tree inspection and surveying, particularly relating to Ash Dieback
Knowledge of tree risk assessment methods
Understanding of current legislation and best practice in arboriculture and tree management
Competent in using IT for inspection recording
Full UK Driving Licence
