We are looking for a hardworking and skilled Installer to lead or support the construction of high-quality timber and composite decking. This is a hands-on role that involves everything from initial ground preparation and sub-frame construction to the final, precise laying of deck boards, fencing and balustrades. This is great for someone who loves to work outside in all weathers. OTE - Bonus scheme available
Key Responsibilities
- Sub-Frame Construction: Building solid, level, and durable timber sub-frames and joist systems.
- Precision Fitting: Installing timber and composite decking boards with meticulous attention to spacing and alignment.
- Bespoke Features: Fitting steps, handrails, balustrades, and integrated lighting to a professional standard.
- Ground Preparation: Basic landscaping and site clearance to ensure a perfect foundation for every build.
- Finishing & Detailing: Ensuring every cut is clean and every edge is sanded or trimmed for a premium finish.
What We're Looking For
- Expert Hand Skills: You must be highly skilled at working with your hands and confident using mitre saws, drills, and levelling tools.
- Practical Experience: A background in carpentry, joinery, or landscaping is preferred, however not essential.
- Outdoor Resilience: You enjoy working outdoors year-round and have the physical stamina for lifting timber and manual site prep.
- Problem Solver: You can think on your feet when dealing with uneven ground or complex garden layouts. Have a good eye for attention to detail.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for transport to sites.
