Job title: Night Shift Manager

My client is looking for a Night Shift Manager to join their team, you would play a pivotal role within the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and will suit someone who has previous first line management experience. Previous experience running/ working on the Night shift is beneficial.

Duties:

• This is a critical leadership role focused on delivering operational excellence
• Eliminating shortages, maintaining strict stock accuracy
• You will act as the key link between teams
• You will take full ownership of night shift performance
• Ensuring workloads are completed accurately and on time while preparing clear priorities for the following day
• Improving scan accuracy, enforcing returns and double-scanning procedures
• Ensuring urgent equipment, including sub-hires, repairs, shortages, and new stock is identified and moved without delay.
• Health & Safety leadership
• Manage staffing levels
• Conduct return-to-work interviews
• Oversee absence and holiday processes
• Deliver regular 1-2-1s,
• Drive performance through clear feedback, development plans, and competency reviews
• Personnel management
• Conflict resolution
