We are looking for an experienced and motivated BMS Project Engineer to join our team based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of building automation projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and public sector environments. You will play a key role in delivering intelligent BMS solutions that enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about sustainability, innovative technology, and end-to-end project delivery. From design and configuration to commissioning and client handover, you will be a vital part of a team that helps buildings become smarter, greener, and more connected.

What You'll Be Doing

As a BMS Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Designing, programming, and commissioning Building Management Systems for HVAC and automation projects.

Overseeing projects from initial specification through to completion and final client acceptance.

Attending site meetings, liaising with contractors, consultants, and end-users to ensure successful project delivery.

Developing and interpreting control panel schematics, point schedules, and technical documentation.

Supporting system integration and troubleshooting during commissioning.

Ensuring all work complies with relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a BMS project engineering or commissioning role.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and building controls.

Proficient in BMS software configuration and graphical interface development.

Electrical or controls engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, or equivalent).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
