Desk-Based Account Manager
Location: Greater Manchester - Hybrid position

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of AV and technology solutions, for a Desk-Based Account Manager based in the Greater Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and collaborative team that delivers cutting-edge solutions across the public sector.

The Role:
As a Desk-Based Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing client accounts and developing new opportunities within the public sector. The ideal candidate will be confident in working with public sector clients and have knowledge of industry-specific frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow existing customer accounts

Respond to inbound enquiries and proactively develop new business opportunities

Prepare quotations and proposals based on customer needs

Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Build relationships with procurement contacts and understand the tender process

Utilise knowledge of public sector frameworks to secure new contracts

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in an Account Manager or similar sales role within the AV or technology sector

Strong understanding of public sector procurement and frameworks (e.g. NHS, education, government contracts)

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable working from the office 4 days a week (1 day from home available after probation)
