Quality Inspector

Denham | £34,000-£38,000 | Permanent | Days

A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector. You'll be carrying out precision inspection of components used in aviation safety systems for fighter jets, ensuring everything leaving your hands meets exacting quality and compliance standards.

What you'll be doing:

Inspecting and testing components using height gauges, bore micrometers, DTIs, and Intertest equipment

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

Generating and maintaining inspection documentation in line with quality assurance procedures

Using SAP to record work in progress, track component batches, and log non-conformances

Ensuring all inspection equipment is maintained and within calibration

Identifying non-conformances and communicating patterns or recurring issues to the Cell Leader

Supporting continuous improvement and 5S activities

Training and supporting new team members

Adhering to all H&S regulations including risk assessments and COSHH

What you need:

Minimum 5 years' inspection experience using height gauges, bore micrometers, DTIs, and Intertest equipment

Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

General manufacturing or engineering background

Strong numeracy and geometry skills

Basic PC skills and SAP experience

GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

Aerospace background and AS9102 FAIR experience desirable

Laser scanning inspection experience beneficial

What's on offer:

£34,000-£38,000 per annum

Days: 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thu / 08:00-12:00 Fri
