Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor

About the Role:
Our client - a respected and long-established law firm known for its claimant work - is seeking an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their highly regarded team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of moderate to high-value Clinical Negligence claims for claimants.
- Support partners and senior solicitors with more complex and high-value matters.
- Investigate and apply medical evidence to build strong cases in the client's best interest.
- Ensure compliance with procedural, funding, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain financial management of files, including WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability, working to meet or exceed set targets.
- Uphold high standards of client care, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
- Undertake other tasks as required by management.
About You:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A valid Practising Certificate with no conditions attached.
- 1-8 years' post-qualification experience managing claimant Clinical Negligence matters .
- A strong academic track record and proven litigation experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
- A proactive approach, with strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Business awareness and commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective work.
- IT literacy - familiarity with Microsoft Office and solicitors' case management systems (experience with Partner for Windows is advantageous).
Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
