Level 2 Teaching Assistant - WF2 ?? Wakefield | ??? September 2025 Start | ?? Full-Time | ?? £93-£110/day

We're working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in the WF2 area seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a nurturing approach and a passion for helping children thrive-particularly those with additional needs.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with SEN

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour management

• Preparing resources and adapting materials to suit individual learning needs

• Liaising with SENCOs and external professionals when required

• Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with SEN pupils

• Calm, patient, and proactive approach to learning support

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
