Senior Electronics Design Engineer — Southampton — £65,000

I'm recruiting on behalf of my client in Southampton for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing R&D team. This is a great opportunity to work on the next generation of premium consumer electronics within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

The Role

*

Design digital circuits (Microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC) and high-speed digital systems

*

Power supply design (linear and switch-mode)

*

Analogue circuit and audio filter design

*

PCB schematic capture and layout (including analogue, power, and FPC)

*

Prototyping, bench testing and EMC/ESD considerations

*

Supplier liaison and component sourcing

*

Full lifecycle involvement from concept to production

What You'll Need

*

Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar)

*

Proven experience designing complex electronic products

*

Strong digital, analogue and high-speed design skills

*

Experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers)

*

Confident ECAD user (Altium 360 desirable)

*

Knowledge of safety, EMC and ESD standards
