Position: Minibus Driver (AM/PM) & Teaching Assistant (Daytime Support)Location: DerbyContract: Full dayStart Date: ASAP

We are looking for a reliable, caring, and motivated individual to join our team as a Minibus Driver with additional responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant during the school day. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is a confident driver, and would like to support students' learning and wellbeing in a school environment.

• Safely transport students to and from school following established routes and schedules.
• Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and appropriate behaviour of students during journeys.
• Carry out basic safety checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of journeys and adhere to school safeguarding policies.

• Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students as needed.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Help with classroom organisation, resources, and general supervision.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a clean, valid UK driving licence (D1 category desirable).
• Has experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
• Is patient, dependable, and committed to student safety and wellbeing.
• Can follow instructions, use initiative, and work well as part of a team.
• Is willing to undertake training, including safeguarding and first aid.
