Job Profile
Seeking a motivated individual to join it's growing team as a Metrology Lead Inspector, who will produce, process, test and characterise novel alloys.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and technicians, ensuring that the work is carried out according to schedule and that technical challenges are quickly tackled. The successful candidate will be asked to frequently liaise with suppliers and subcontractors. This role will suit somebody with relevant Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing experience with a background within the precision engineering sector.

· Operating, maintaining and programming CMM equipment
· Operating and maintaining GOM scanner and microscope/profilometry equipment
· Communicating with engineers to understand their needs, scheduling and performing work accordingly.
· Supporting the development of efficient work procedures
· Participating in the development of the company's in-house capabilities.
· Maintaining good health and safety practices

Skills & Attributes:
· CMM programming
· Understanding engineering drawings and FAIR requirements
· Experience working in a precision engineering environment
· Ability to compile reports to customers including route-cause analysis, concessions, non-conformance
· Organised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with a diverse, fast-moving team
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Experience with metal additive manufacturing and relevant equipment in value chain
· Experience in operating, maintaining and purchasing precision engineering equipment
· Willingness to work flexible hours or morning/afternoon shifts if needed.

· 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (Flexible working hours)
