This is an outstanding and oversubscribed secondary school, seeking a passionate, talented, and rigorous Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. Day-to-day of the role: - Work as part of the Personalisation Team, led by the SENCO, focusing on a specific area of SEND provision such as small group tutoring.
- Develop expertise in a designated area to effectively meet the needs of our diverse student cohort.
- Provide targeted support in English, Maths, and Science to students with an EHCP, both on a 1:1 basis and within small intervention groups.
- Contribute to the setup and management of EAL provision for the upcoming academic year under the guidance of the SENCO.
- Engage with continuous professional development and share best practices with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience working with students in an educational setting; experience with ASD is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to lead and develop specific areas of SEND provision.
- Strong commitment to improving educational standards and a belief in the potential of all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
