Our client, Suffolk County Council, is seeking a Consultant Social Worker for its South Ipswich Children’s Social Care team.

The pay rate is £39.50 - £42 umbrella.

Details of the role:

• Child Protection and CIN
• Supporting the team manager in supervising social workers and having operational oversight of the team.
• Based in Ipswich
• Hybrid working – 2-3 days per week onsite

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in children’s social care, specifically CP work
• Must have some experience of offering supervision to social workers including newly qualified social workers
