Role Overview:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide personalised assistance to students, aiding their learning and holistic development. From academic support to promoting independence and managing behaviour, you'll create a nurturing atmosphere conducive to growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster supportive relationships with students, ensuring their safety and enjoyment in a conducive learning environment.
- Assist in delivering a dynamic curriculum, tailored to individual needs, fostering holistic development.
- Demonstrate flexibility in duties, adapting to varying requirements within the SEN environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in SEN settings, either professionally or voluntarily.
- GCSE Maths and English Level 3 or above qualification.
- Level 3 or above qualification in Support work for Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Adaptability, creativity, and a child-centric approach.
