Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Relay Test Commissioning Engineer

on a 4 month contract, based in Inverness

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Relay Test Commissioning Engineer to support substation commissioning activities in Inverness. The successful candidate will play a key role in testing, commissioning, and verifying protection and control systems to ensure safe and reliable network performance.

Responsibilities:

* Perform relay testing, commissioning, and functional checks

* Validate protection settings and ensure correct operation

* Produce accurate test documentation and commissioning reports

* Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth project delivery

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Requirements

* Substation experience is essential

* Strong background in relay testing and commissioning

* Ability to work independently and deliver work to a high standard

* Good understanding of protection schemes and associated documentation

* Availability to start Monday 8th December
