Job Title: Engineering Tech 1-5(Welder) Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance Work Week: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Flexible Hours: Yes Flexible Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Position located in Virginia Beach, VA, but substantial travel may be required. Position Overview: GVI, Inc., a DoD contractor industry leader, is seeking Engineering Technicians (I - V) - Welders with varying degrees of experience to support BFTT AIT efforts on U.S. Navy vessels. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidates will perform tasks ranging from routine fabrication from detailed procedures to performing non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity as part of an afloat installation team. Position located in Virginia Beach, VA, but substantial travel may be required.
