Job Title: Commercial Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Temp)

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-maintained office building in Central London on a 3-month temporary contract.

Working on behalf of the landlord, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across the building, ensuring all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems

Attend and resolve reactive maintenance issues

*

Fault finding on electrical systems and associated plant

*

Maintenance of lighting, power, distribution boards, and control systems

*

Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Liaise with site management and other engineers where required

*

Complete job reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

*

Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

*

Previous experience within commercial maintenance environments

*

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Good communication and client-facing skills
