Reach Truck Driver

Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY
Hourly rate: £13.21 p/h
Hours of work:  Mon-Fri #removed#, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: These roles are full time on-going positions and may lead to permanency for the right candidates.

Start date: ASAP

Must have a valid RTITB/ITSAAR Licence.

A well established National Logistics Supply Chain is currently experiencing growth and seeking a number of experienced Reach drivers. There are a number of contracts operating from this location therefore you would be working within a very fast paced warehouse environment and previous experience is essential.

Your duties will include:

Operating Reach Trucks to move, stack, and retrieve pallets at height within warehouse racking.
Ensuring correct placement of goods in designated storage areas.
Maintaining accurate stock records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Conducting daily equipment checks and adhering to health & safety regulations.
Picking pallets from high racking.
Other warehouse duties which may include manual handling, pallet wrapping, and housekeeping to maintain a clean workspace. 

An ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

Must have recent previous experience operating FLT Reach trucks. A minimum of 1 year.
Must have current and valid RTITB or ITSAAR accredited certificate. In-house documents will not be accepted.
Must have a “can do” attitude and good attention to detail.
Ideally has used RDT's.
All operators will have to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to their assessment.
