About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Solicitor to join our client's dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of family law matters, providing expert advice and representation to clients during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on all aspects of family law, including:
  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial settlements
  • Child arrangements and custody
  • Domestic abuse cases
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Draft legal documents, agreements, and court applications.
• Conduct negotiations and attend court hearings where necessary.
• Maintain excellent client care and communication throughout the process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
• Minimum 0-4 years’ experience in family law.
• Strong knowledge of UK family law and related legislation.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and discretion.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with mediation or collaborative law.
• Membership of Resolution or similar professional body.
• Familiarity with legal aid processes.
