Elringklinger USA Is seeking a top talented Human Resources Coordinator!

Job Scope Summary: The Human Resource Coordinator will collaborate with managers, employees, and internal HR subject matter experts to provide general guidance and consultation on a variety of HR maters such as compensation and benefits, payroll, staffing, talent management, engagement and retention, legal and compliance issues, performance management, employee relations, and communications.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities in understanding business strategy and how HR processes align and integrate with the business.This person should be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to be innovative, creative, and develop best-in-class solutions to problems. The successful candidate must also demonstrate an ability to quickly foster trust of leaders, team members, and employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with benefits administration and payroll processing.

  • Partners with management regarding compensation, classification and salary issues. Assesses effectiveness of salary administration processes.

  • Partners with management to ensure diverse applicant pool, participates in hiring interviews and selection of employees. Provides feedback to management on the development of current and future skill requirements and implementation of staffing plans.

  • Provides management with employee engagement data and analysis. Responsible for understanding the business environment and developing integrated HR solutions to advance organizational objectives.

  • Serve as an associate advocate, internal consultant and business partner with management on human resources issues impacting the performance of the distribution operations. Administer policies and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.

  • Provide effective associate communications through a variety of methods, such as bulletin board notices, posters, newsletters, and social media. Coordinate outside communications such as public relations promotional advertising and job vacancy advertising.

  • Assist in the Performance Management Process as an in-house resource and reviewer to ensure proper performance improvement processes are followed as required.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files in accordance to federal, state, and local laws.

  • Work closely with payroll processing all new hires, terminations, and personnel changes in the HRMS

  • Respond to employment verifications and provide general administrative support for the HR department

  • Assist in the onboarding process and new hire orientation process

  • Assist in the review and/or create new job descriptions

  • Assist HR team with special projects and perform other HR responsibilities as necessary

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or related field

  • 0-1 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources; providing guidance regarding HR policies, procedures, processes and services; influencing and driving change in organizations through partnering with organization leaders, and working in a business environment partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders.

  • Prefer human resource experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Self-motivating with the ability to drive projects through completion

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including those who are not familiar with compliance

  • Maintain discretion in matters of confidentiality

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Proficient with HRMS reporting system such as ADP Workforce Now
