The Role: Shift Support Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Shift Support Engineer to work alongside the Shift Engineer in supporting all aspects of plant, facility, and asset maintenance. This role plays a key part in driving Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

You will receive full company training and guidance, with the opportunity to develop into a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer.

Key Responsibilities: Shift Support Engineer

* Support the Shift Engineer to ensure production equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

* Carry out servicing and maintenance of site machinery.

* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.

* Respond to machine breakdowns and support root cause analysis (RCA).

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.

* Actively support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

* Promote and lead a strong safety-first culture at all times.

Key Requirements: Shift Support Engineer

* Apprentice-trained preferred.

* Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline is essential.

* Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly advantageous.

* Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is beneficial.

* Experience with computer-controlled systems is beneficial.
