In this role, you'll deliver a mix of practical and classroom-based sessions to learners working towards their Mechanical Engineering qualifications. Full teacher training and formal teaching qualifications will be provided, so no previous teaching experience is necessary.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) and have hands-on industry experience, whether from manufacturing, maintenance, production, or engineering operations.

Whether you're a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Design Engineer, or have other relevant experience, this role would suit a skilled engineer looking for a meaningful career change, where you can make a difference, gain new qualifications, and enjoy long-term stability and professional growth.

The Role:

Full Teacher Training Provided
Delivering both practical and theoretical mechanical engineering training
Supporting and mentoring learners from various backgrounds
37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
The Person:

Hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. maintenance, manufacturing, design, or production)
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
No teaching or lecturing experience required - full training offered
