We are working with a well-established business in Telford to recruit for a Service Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. This role has become available due to a period of sustained growth and to enable them to achieve their plans for growth, they now need to add an extra person to the team. The Service Co-ordinator will be responsible for the effective delivery of first-class customer service and continuous development to the revenues to the business.

Duties will include but won't be limited to:

* Ensure timely, effective communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers alike.

* To effectively allocate and plan the company's field engineering resources, communicating in good time and to the agreed standards.

* Organise spare parts, plant and equipment to correspond with site attendance.

* Ensure all associated administration (quotations, billing, customer & purchase orders, warranty issues, maintenance & master data etc.) procedures are actioned in an accurate and timely manner.

* Effectively plan to deliver budget/KPI level performance monthly, ensuring sufficient work is generated/available to avoid shortfalls to plan.

* Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and agreed company practice at all times.

* Maintain the warehouse and stock in an accurate, orderly manner at all times with all transactions recorded. Providing timely periodic and annual stock reporting.

* Ensure the vehicle fleet is kept in good condition, serviced and maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations/statutory requirements at all times.

* Presentation of agreed reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

* Organise appropriate documentation, PPE, work equipment, accommodation and travel arrangements for field engineering staff.

* To maintain and periodically renew agreed company accreditations.

* Contributing towards the creation of a healthy, conducive working environment for our field engineering team optimising retention and future candidate attraction, where necessary assisting the Operations Manager with supplementary recruitment requirements.

* Consistently promote high standard, leading by example.

* Any other reasonable request as required by the business.

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in a similar customer focused environment

* Proficient in MS Office applications

* SAP or similar CRM system experience is essential.

* Strong communication skills
