Overview

Our client, a well-established specialist in architectural and secondary steelwork, is seeking experienced Site Fitters & Installers to support ongoing projects across the UK. They deliver high-quality installation services on construction sites nationwide and are looking for reliable, skilled individuals who can work effectively as part of a small team and maintain high standards on-site.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced steelwork installers who are comfortable working away from home and have a strong background in site-based fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of architectural and secondary steelwork on construction sites
Fitting and erecting:
Balustrades
Balconies & glass balconies
Handrails
Canopies
Glass partitions
Secondary steelwork
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Collaborating effectively within a small team (typically 2-person teams)

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience installing architectural steelwork and metalwork
Ability to TIG and MIG weld
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
CSCS card essential
Full UK driving license required
Additional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS) advantageous
Hardworking, reliable, and able to communicate effectively on-site
Willingness to work away from home depending on project location

Package & Benefits
