They are looking to expand a busy Highways team, already busy with major projects as well as plenty of County Council frameworks to keep the pipeline strong.

In particular they are pushing for a sizable expansion for their office in Birmingham, looking at Senior Highway Engineers.

The right candidate can find themselves project managing large infrastructure schemes at home and abroad, reviewing designs with clients to make sure of a quality delivery whilst keeping it in budget and on time. You will also be using Microdrainage to design surface water drainage systems.

For this level role, you will be:

Degree qualified
Approaching Chartership - if not already Chartered
Involved in project management, or elements of it previously
Able to take the initiative over your own workload as well as your teams
Able to mentor less experienced staff as part of a progression programme
Flexible in your approach, and willing to push your knowledge to and past its limits
