Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Superuser administration, preparation of delegated work packs, scheduling, and inventory control.
Coordinate, schedule, and track all routine and preventive maintenance activities.
Collaborate with the team and management to plan outages in line with the business plan.
Develop and implement an inspection and monitoring program to ensure equipment and plant performance is optimized, reducing the risk of incidents or failures.
Organising and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Administer and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering
A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous

Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge

The Maintenance Supervisor role would suit someone who has:

Prior hands-on maintenance experience working with Mechanical, Electrical or C&I equipment
Excellent knowledge of CMMS systems including implementation and development
Prior experience working in heavy engineering environments such as Power, Steel, Cement, Pharmaceutical, COMAH, Paper Mills, etc
Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers will also be considered for this opportunity
