Production Operative – Irlam

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Operative, offering stable hours, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 – 16:30

Rates of Pay

• £12.70 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Accurately picking and packing goods for dispatch
• Completing documentation and paperwork accurately
• Using barcode scanners and basic IT systems
• Supporting the production team when required
• Assembling washroom products including furniture, plumbing components, and light electrical assemblies
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Carrying out basic quality checks on completed products
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the work area
• Following all company procedures and health & safety guidelines
• Working overtime during busy periods when required

• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work

• Willingness to learn and carry out a variety of tasks

Desirable Experience

• Experience in assembly, joinery, plumbing, or basic electrical work
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential)

Training Provided

• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
