The schools require additional staff to work closely with students on either a 1:1 basis or in small groups, supporting their learning and personal development throughout the school day.

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering classroom activities, including tailored support linked to each student's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Help manage behaviour positively and support students with emotional regulation

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of each child you support

Working Hours:

(Times may vary slightly by school)

No evenings or weekend work required.

About You:

A genuine interest in working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs

Experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential

Transferable experience from roles such as care/support work, nursing, ambulance services, police force, military, residential care, youth work, or sports coaching is highly valued

A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to use your initiative

A patient and empathetic nature, with the resilience to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment

A current Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

What We Offer:
