About the Role

A leading global manufacturer is seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function through an exciting period of site development.

This role is hands-on and highly visible within the factory, focusing on driving engineering excellence and planned maintenance. The site has recently undergone significant investment and is a centre of excellence for advanced manufacturing technologies, including freeze-dried, spray-dried, and pod-based production. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and Lean/TPM principles, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the engineering function across production units, site services, and utilities.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and product standards.
Manage maintenance operations, including PM and AM Pillar Leadership within a TPM environment using SAP PM.
Develop and manage the site's maintenance budget.
Support the delivery of CAPEX projects in collaboration with the Engineering Project team.
Contribute to the site's Operational Master Plan and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in engineering management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong background in TPM and leadership of AM/PM pillars.
Demonstrated ability in people development, coaching, and succession planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of food safety and hygienic engineering standards is preferred.
