Are you an experienced Technical Manager ready to lead and innovate in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We are working in partnership with a respected and growing food manufacturer in the South-East, seeking a dynamic individual to take ownership of their technical function and drive continuous improvement across the site.

As Technical Manager, you will be the site lead for all technical and food safety matters, ensuring compliance with customer, legal, and BRC standards. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Operations Director and working closely with Quality, Production, and NPD teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Technical and Quality teams to ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards.

Maintain and develop robust food safety, HACCP, and quality systems to BRCGS and customer audit standards.

Be the primary point of contact for customer technical queries, audits, and site visits.

*

Drive a culture of continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and compliance.

*

Work collaboratively across departments to support innovation and product development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within the food manufacturing sector.

In-depth knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety legislation, and customer standards.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

*

Excellent communication abilities and experience dealing directly with major UK retailers or foodservice clients.

A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for quality and compliance.
