Application Specialist - Wetherby (Remote) - £29-36k

Our client, with offices in North Yorkshire, are looking for an Application Specialist to join their Applications Team responsible for the smooth-running, maintenance and upgrades of some of their business-critical systems which manage the discovery, ordering and access capabilities. In doing so you can expect to work with a diverse range of people in the Technology department, such as developers, testers, architects, business analysts, security staff and project managers.

The company boast a very flexible approach to work with a 36-hour work-week managed by the employees, rather than set hours or even core hours. This is brilliant for those with responsibilities outside of work such as childcare or school runs. They also offer remote working, meeting up in the offices once a week with the rest of the team.

To Be Considered:

Demonstrable experience supporting, configuring and monitoring of third party/packaged or bespoke applications
Demonstrable experience supporting applications in the Linux/UNIX environment
Experience of operational acceptance testing and deploying changes to production systems
Experience of data migration and file management
Knowledge of SQL Querying
