Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong capability and enthusiasm for teaching A-Level English Literature and Language.

* Cultivate a love of reading, creative writing, critical analysis, and effective communication skills in all students.

* Contribute to the development and enrichment of a challenging and engaging English curriculum across all key stages, including A-Level.

* Assess and monitor student progress effectively, providing insightful feedback and targeted support, particularly for students pursuing A-Level English.

* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English Department to share best practices and enhance the teaching of English at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A strong degree in English Language, Literature, or a closely related field.

* Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum across all key stages, including the A-Level specifications.
