Meridian Business Support are seeking a Warehouse operative for a leading global engineering company based in Cheltenham (GL53)

We have 2 shifts available: DAYS and LATES
 
DAYS:

Salary £25,953pa to £27,081pa - Dependent on experience (Increase to £27,081pa after probation)
Hourly rate £12.88ph - £13.44ph
Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 16:45 and Friday half day
75 Hours per week
35 days annual leave (including bank holidays) 
LATES:

Salary £28,986pa to £30,243pa - Dependent on experience (Increase to £30,243pa after probation)
Hourly rate between 14:00 - 19:00 £12.88ph - £13.44ph
Hourly rate after 19:00 £17.13ph to £17.87ph
Monday to Thursday, 14:00-23:30
38 Hours per week
35 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

This is a cross-functional warehouse role covering Goods Inward, Stores, and the Distribution Centre, with full training provided across all departments.
 
You'll be responsible for receiving and handling stock, picking and packing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet daily targets.
 
The role involves using handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), as well as operating material handling equipment such as ride-on pallet trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks. It's a varied and active position that plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly during the late shift.
 
The company is looking for you to have at least 1 years warehouse experience in either a distribution or logistics environment. Have working knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience operating Material Handling Equipment (e.g., ride-on pallet trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks)
 
Key Responsibilities:

Goods receiving, stock handling, order picking, packing, and dispatch
Timely and accurate processing of stock and orders to meet targets
Use of handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
