Teacher of Science required from September 2021 to deliver in school learning

A 'Good' secondary school in Preston are seeking to recruit a Science Teacher, ideally with a Chemistry or Physics specialism for a September 2021 start, with the opportunity to go permanent. (option for an earlier start to handover from May 2021)
This is an excellent school with a supportive staff body. With a reputation for high standards, in both the Science curriculum and the breadth of the extra-curricular opportunities available to all their students, as evidenced in the recent Ofsted Report on the school. The school's popularity, especially for the enrollment of Science study at A Level, is such that the demand each year significantly exceeds the number of places available.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Evidence of good classroom practice
- The aptitudes to nurture, encourage, motivate and stimulate young people
- High expectations of students' attainment and behaviour
- Good organisation and communication skills
- A PGCE and QTS specialising in Science
- Able to teach GCSE Sciences: Chemistry, Biology and Physics
