Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (SEN Support, KS1)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lytham St Annes who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This is a full-time position supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both in the classroom and through targeted small‑group and 1:1 interventions.

The Role:

Providing tailored support to KS1 pupils with a range of SEN needs
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible learning
Supporting emotional, social, and academic development
Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring progress and contributing to support plans where required

The School Are Looking For:

A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within KS1
Someone patient, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
A team player with excellent communication skills
A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential
