Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking for your next rewarding opportunity? We’re delighted to be partnering with a highly respected NHS healthcare organisation to recruit a dedicated nurse to join their busy Outpatients department. This is an excellent chance to secure a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the strong possibility of extension, within a supportive and forward-thinking clinical environment.

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern, making it ideal for nurses seeking both stability and balance while continuing to develop their professional skills.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care. Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Providing direct nursing care aligned to patient care plans and clinical protocols.
  • Assessing patient needs, prioritising care, and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Monitoring vital signs, recognising clinical deterioration, and escalating concerns promptly.
  • Administering medications safely in line with hospital policy and the NMC Code.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation.
  • Ensuring all care provided meets clinical governance, patient safety, and safeguarding standards.
  • Identifying and reporting incidents, risks, or safeguarding concerns where appropriate.

About You

We are looking for a nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Essential criteria include:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) – valid NMC registration
  • Experience working in a clinical healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Confidence using digital systems for documentation and care planning
  • Experience in a relevant specialty (medical, surgical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care) is desirable
