Food Technology Teacher - Central Nottingham

This full-time position is available From January 2026 and will continue until Easter 2026 with possibility to extend.

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

• Inspire pupils to develop essential life skills, creativity, and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy living

• Plan and teach high-quality lessons that balance both practical and theory-based learning

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Work collaboratively within the Design and Technology department to uphold high standards of teaching and learning

• Full-time position in a welcoming, inclusive Nottingham secondary school

• Competitive pay: £168.80 - £232.57 per day (depending on experience)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Specialism in Food Technology or related Design & Technology subjects

• Strong classroom management and effective communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
