A Special Needs school in South London is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a child with Autism. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a classroom setting and must have previous experience working with children with Autism and/or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.

In this rewarding role, the Learning Support Assistant will support the class teacher across all subjects, contribute to creative lesson planning, and work closely on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism. Building a strong rapport and keeping the student engaged will be key to helping him improve social skills and overcome learning barriers.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant must:

· Have the right to work in the UK

· Hold a clear DBS registered on the update service, or be willing to complete a new DBS (£49.50)

· Have previous experience supporting children with Autism and/or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties

· Be committed, reliable, and available 5 days a week, from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

· Be passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs
