The Role - Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working 1:1 with a pupil who presents with behavioural challenges and requires consistent adult support throughout the school day. The pupil responds well to positive role models, enjoys sports, and benefits from structured activities and strong, trusting relationships. Your role will involve supporting emotional regulation, managing triggers, and implementing behaviour support strategies in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to follow individual behaviour plans and provide a stable, encouraging presence. Restraint training is highly desirable; however, the school is open to candidates with strong behaviour experience.
